Dads Day out. One of the best events of 2009 returns bigger and better for 2010. Dads Day Out at Dunsfold Park (the home of BBC’s Top Gear) is a fantastic event in aid of The Children’s Trust charity in Tadworth and has been co-organised by our friends over at Petrolhead Nirvana in association with Club Scuderia.
Up early for this one, picked up Tim at 7am and a nice full English on the way down. I won’t go on about this, I will just let the images speak for their selves, needless to say that me and Mr. Gosling had big smiles on our faces.
This year, the total number of people who came along was well over 4,500 (i think it may well be closer to 5,000) and although the final figures are yet to be calculated, we appear to have raised in excess of £63,000 every penny raised goes to the charity.
This week starts with a little shoot in Oxford for The Sat times, look out for it soon. the rest of the week is working on the libra
ry and preparing for a 10 day trip working in Newcastle and Scotland later in the month, I know all of you think that us photographers shoot in the mornings and spend the afternoons on the terrace sipping Martinis, I tell you thats nealy ture but there is is quite a lot of organising and admin to do as well. Its only picture editors that lunch all day….only joking girls…put those bags away.
