How the Joseph Joseph designer transformed a run-of-the-mill Victorian terrace house
You’d expect the kitchen of Richard Joseph’s South London home to be full of colourful pots and gadgets. After all, he is one half of Joseph Joseph, the design team behind some of the most sought-after kitchen wares, from rainbow stacking bowls to the multimillion-selling Chop2Pot foldable chopping board. But Joseph confesses that cooking isn’t really his thing.
“I cook, but not to relax,” he says with a smile.
When Brunello Cucibelli, the cashmere king of Italy, bought a huge house in a 14th-century hill town, he couldn’t stop there. He had to have the town as well…
A Times job yet to be publish in Oxford shire very nice couple with a colourful house. love the bold prints and the Biba bedroom.
Showed you a image of Tiger a a few months ago, well he ended up here, please take a look.
This shoot made me very home sick for being in India, yes it was a sunny day but the way Indians just use colour is just fab, you would have never of guessed all this was behind the front door and what a good use of space, well you will just have to wait until it come out in the Times 29th of this month.
I seem to have gone to the seaside quite a bit this year but never spent a minute on the beach.
This coastal shoot was very calm and natural, the guy is an artist and works with wood, you could really tell he loved the stuff, just having and coveting it was good enough, but he went on to make calm peaceful works with it, which I liked. Great colour palette to the house other than the odd kids room, but kids have to have their stuff too.
No filming today as I’m off to catch a plane….
Working in Cheshire today, very colourful house, with a nice team of girls that make all manor of cushions. Also gave me my 1st chance to try out my moving image work on a editorial shoot, I think before very long we as in photographers will be contubuting still and moving images as the lines between magazine and iPad and the moving image all blur into one. this little shot of Mary is for my good friend Simon that so what of a obsession with religious iconography. All this gave me a good reason to stay with Angie’s sisters who live in Cheshire and have a family meal which we don’t do enough and was very good, I have shot Angie’s bother-in -law (R0wland) allotment earlier in the year must post a couple of shots, anyone fancy a allotment book.
