Posted by Ray on 21 Nov 2012 / 0 Comment

I wish Easy jet still flew from Stansted to Newcastle, could do a job up North and be back for supper, no more, its back in the car for the long drive but there always silver linings, the A68 what a lovely driving road and Northumberland looks so good at this time of year. Any way some frames from up North, West and south.

Approval from Mrs Green I think
Posted by Ray on 02 Oct 2012 / 0 Comment

Lancaster Gate is big grand development by Northacre on the North side of Hyde Park. Helen Green Design have just completed very large apartment and it was the first hue project that I have shot for them since Helen’s sad death, I think the lady would have approved of her teams work, it must be very hard to follow in the steps of someone with such a large presence within a company. www.thelancastershydepark.com, www.helengreendesign.com

Damson Gin Country
Posted by Ray on 07 Jun 2012 / 0 Comment

What do you get when you mix the beautiful English countryside, the perfect spot to grow fruit trees and a man with passion? Timmy’s Damson Gin has a wonderful deep colour; this smooth and fruity gin is lovingly handmade and ripened by the British summer. The damsons are grown on the gentle slops then put into jars and seeped in London Gin and sugar and left to mature for at least eight months.

Boys playing at camps you can’t beat it, great few days away with Timmy living in the UK outback, driving tractors and taking a few pictures.

RE genaration

Shoot last week, in a old house where a old lady had live until she was in her 90s, the place had some great texture and colours to put product against but I could help thinking about the old lady that had live there and all the memories that must have happen there and now the house would been modernised and they would all be rubbed away, it made me feel quite sad, there again a new live and new memories will start again. Here’s a little port of off camera shots of the house.

Down on the South Downs
Posted by Ray on 04 Aug 2011 / 0 Comment

Its a simple but very effective trick to put fresh herbs into room flowers, give the room the feel that all the doors and windows have been open all day and the country side is flowing though your home. 2nd job for a new client all went well and she still smiling…where’s that beer.

A breath of fresh air
Posted by Ray on 12 Mar 2011 / 0 Comment

I was going to do a couple of  jobs in the Middle East but because of things out of my control, I would have been unable to re-enter India, so I didn’t shoot them, so have kept myself busy by shooting a friends house, she has tolled long and hard to get the standard in design and finish, its a bit hard to understand unless you have lived in India, but take it from me, to get the finished job that she has takes a lot of hard work, so well done her, here’s just a few images from the set.

Up date on some of my commercial work
Posted by Ray on 08 Feb 2011 / 0 Comment

Shot quit a few commercial jobs last year than my normal editorial work, don’t know why just goes like that sometimes, as old doors close new ones open…helpfully.  So here are a few shots you don’t normally get to see as they are taken by my clients and used for their own requirements.

Style Matters

Let’s celebrate automotive style
Fashion is at once the most vacuous and the most vital, ever-changing cultural force. And rather than being all about handbags, high heels, sharp suits and frilly frocks, the amorphous animal that is fashion applies to everything we do.

And that includes driving cars and riding bikes.
