I know, I know, people are getting tied of me batting on about how lovely the weather is and consequently how good the trees, plants and countryside looks. Chelsea flower show very soon, I hope very one has a great show. Here’s a little film we shot in my garden to get you in the mood.

Alexx has been leading the discussion about moving from stills to motion for quite a while it is exciting to listen to him talk and to show some incredible examples of what will become ‘normal’ in the future – stuff that seems pretty unusual and unique right now. Please watch this talk to see some of Alexx’s work. Much of what Alexx is doing is on the Red, but as he mentions in the lecture, the Canon HDSLRs (especially the Canon EOS 5D Mark II (reviews) that ignited the revolution) are enabling this new medium.
Photo professionals are already under pressure to offer motion to clients, but in the rush to provide motion, little is discussed about the type of content that will both serve the needs of the clients, and work with the strengths of the photographer.
Alexx discusses a new medium called “Living Art” which draws upon the strengths and disciplines of traditional print while exploring what motion has to offer.
This seminar will give you the tools to understand this new paradigm and how to apply your strengths as a photo professional. The start is a bit windy but stay with it, its another glimps of whats around the corner and I for one want to be part of it.

Here is our latest little film, it’s of a piece of furniture the very talented Mr. Newbold made for us a few years ago when we used those funny things called CD’s, at the moment I am trying to give myself projects to film and Tims table made a very good subject.
For the anoraks out there we have just bought the all singing and dancing Adobe Creative Suite CS5 Master Collection from a company that are doing software very cheap, in fact their address is www.buyitultracheay.com always happy to spread a good word.
Anyway hope you like it.
